Service area
Onehunga is home base, so Central Auckland is where Impact Roofing Solutions does most of its work. Recent projects include villa reroofs in Mt Eden and Remuera, full roof and spouting replacements in Westmere and Kingsland, a concrete-tile-to-metal conversion in Westmere, and a reroof with new skylights in Herne Bay.
The central suburbs are villa and bungalow country. Roofs from the 1900s to the 1930s are steep, cut up with hips, valleys and lean-tos, and often carry several generations of patch repairs. We reroof them in long-run corrugate that keeps the look, with the flashings, underlay and ventilation the originals never had.
Further out, Ellerslie, Penrose, Mt Wellington and Onehunga mix 1950s to 70s homes with light-industrial buildings, and we handle both: residential reroofs and leak repairs, and commercial roofs where the business keeps trading underneath.

What's different here
Character homes. Many central suburbs sit in Special Character Areas under the Auckland Unitary Plan. Replacing a roof like for like usually needs no consent, but changing the roof's appearance can. We'll tell you which applies before you commit.
Complex villa roofs. Multiple faces, internal gutters behind parapets and chimneys mean more flashings than a modern roof. Most villa leaks start at a flashing or a junction, not in the sheet, so that's where our attention goes.
Access and neighbours. Narrow sections, shared driveways and overhead lines are the norm. We photograph the property before we start, plan the scaffold around it, and keep the site tidy for the neighbours' sake as much as yours.

Our home base. 1900s to 1950s homes a few minutes from the yard, so site visits and leak call-outs here are the quickest we do.
Villas with steep, cut-up roofs inside Special Character Areas. Our Herne Bay reroof added new skylights while the roof was off.
Villas and bungalows on established streets. Two of our recent villa reroofs are in Mt Eden, including a full villa reroof in Grey Friars corrugate.
Larger homes, many on concrete tile or ageing long-run. Our Remuera villa reroof replaced a roof leaking across several faces.
Bungalows and villas. Recent work here includes a full corrugate reroof in Westmere, a concrete-tile-to-metal conversion in Westmere, a two-house reroof in Kingsland and a tile-to-metal reroof in Morningside.
50s to 70s homes beside light-industrial buildings. Residential reroofs and leak repairs, and commercial maintenance where the business keeps trading.
50s and 60s homes, many with original corrugate at the end of its life. Straightforward reroofs where we also sort insulation and ventilation.
The Eastern Bays sit in a coastal exposure zone, so material choice and washing matter as much as they do on the Shore.
