Mitch founded Impact Roofing Solutions in 2019. Quentin joined the following year and soon became one of the owners.
Mitch's background is in long run metal roofing. Quentin's is in building. Working alongside each other, each has picked up a good deal of the other's trade, and that combination is what lets us work through complex problems and take on jobs that need more than one trade, run under one roof.
Mitch is passionate about people and works directly with clients, so there is a direct line of communication on every project. A lot of that is about being proactive — seeing what a roof is going to need before it becomes a problem.
Quentin is a tradesperson who likes to learn. He keeps up with new products and installation methods, tests them on the tools, and passes on what works to the rest of the team.

Who We Are
Impact Roofing Solutions is an Auckland metal roofing company, established in 2019. We work with homeowners, property owners, architects, builders and developers across residential reroofing, commercial roofing, architectural and new build projects, repairs and specialist metal roofing.
Our approach is practical. We work out what the building and the roof actually need, then explain the options, the scope and the reasoning behind what we're recommending. We look ahead for the things that cause problems later: drainage, flashings, penetrations, the condition of the substrate, ventilation, exposure and coordination with the other trades on site.
From the first site visit through to handover, the aim is a roof that's been properly thought through, properly documented, and built for the conditions it will actually face.
Roofing decisions can look simple from the outside. Replace the sheets, fix the leak, install the flashing. In practice, the long-term result usually depends on the details around the roofing: what's underneath it, how water drains, how penetrations are flashed, whether the material suits the environment, and how the roof interacts with the rest of the building.
That's why we put so much weight on the assessment and the scope before any work begins. If there are potential problems, we'd rather find and discuss them early than discover them once the roof is underway.
It also means we don't think every roofing problem has the same answer. Sometimes targeted maintenance is the right call. Sometimes continued repairs have stopped being good value. And sometimes the opportunity is to design the new roof properly from the beginning. Our job is to explain what we see and recommend the approach we'd take if it were our responsibility to deliver the work.
