Reroof and new spouting finished before the clients' family function, with solar installers and other trades working on site.
A full roof and spouting replacement on a home in Westmere. The clients were in the middle of renovations and had a family function coming up, so the roof had to be finished by a set date.
The new roof is 0.55 BMT COLORSTEEL® MAXAM® corrugate in Grey Friars, with COLORSTEEL® quarter round spouting in Grey Friars. The roofing was roll-formed by Dimond Roofing.
Other trades were working around the back of the house at the same time, so planning the site and the order of work was a big part of the job.
We coordinated with the solar installers so they could run their cables while the roof was open, and the new roof was in place and ready for their panels.
At the back, we redesigned the spouting around a new pergola. We also designed a flashing to go between the roof and the pergola, to stop wind-driven rain getting in.
The weather wasn't on our side, but we finished within the timeframe, so the clients could complete their renovations and enjoy their family function.
