A concrete tile roof converted to corrugate across a multi-hip house and pergola, with tight site access and every sheet planned to avoid waste.
A concrete tile to long-run metal roof conversion on a home in Morningside, covering the main house roof and the pergola. The original tile roof was old and due for replacement.
The new roof is 0.55 BMT COLORCOTE® ZinaCore corrugate in Mist Green, with COLORSTEEL® quarter round spouting in Mist Green and Marley white PVC downpipes.
Access was the hardest part of the job. The site was difficult to move around, so the old concrete tiles had to be carried out to the driveway by hand. It was heavy, backbreaking work for the team.
The neighbours were very friendly and let us set up on their lawn, where we cut the sheets and angles for the roof.
The roof is multi-hip, with runs of different lengths and angles. We put a lot of thought into the sheet layout and cutting list to make the most of every sheet and avoid waste.
We kept the house watertight throughout, working around the weather as the job progressed. It was a solid effort from the team, and we're really happy with how it turned out.

“Mitchell and his crew did an outstandng job of replacing my 80 year old tile roof with a new Coloursteel roof. My roof is pretty complex with many different faces and angles. Impact Roofing did a beautiful job. Mitchell is excellent to deal with, a good organiser and communicator. Highly recommended.”
