Impact Roofing Solutions reroofs, repairs and maintains metal roofs across East Auckland, from Pakuranga and Howick out to Flat Bush, Whitford and the Pohutukawa Coast. We're based in Onehunga, so the eastern suburbs are a short run along the motorway for a site visit, a leak call-out or a full reroof crew.

Much of East Auckland was built from the 1970s onwards, which means a lot of brick-and-tile homes with concrete or pressed-metal (Decramastic) tile roofs now reaching the end of their life. Converting those roofs to long-run COLORSTEEL® or COLORCOTE® is one of the most common jobs we do: lighter, watertight, and backed by manufacturer warranties registered in your name.

Every job starts with a proper look at the whole roof, a written scope, and a quote that tells you what's included and what happens if we find rot once the old roof comes off.

Coastal exposure. Homes around Bucklands Beach, Cockle Bay, Beachlands and Maraetai sit close to the Tamaki Strait and the Hauraki Gulf. Properties within a few hundred metres of the sea usually fall into the higher corrosion zones, which changes which roofing products are warranted and how long they're expected to last. We look up your zone before we quote.

Tile-to-metal conversions. Concrete and Decramastic tile roofs from the 1970s and 80s are common across Howick, Pakuranga and Botany. Decramastic tiles of that era may contain asbestos, so we test first and arrange licensed removal where it's needed.

Newer subdivisions. Flat Bush, Dannemora and East Tamaki homes are generally 10 to 25 years old. The usual issues are maintenance that never happened, failed penetrations around skylights and vents, and spouting that was undersized for the roof.

Howick roofing

An established 1970s to 90s suburb with a high share of brick-and-tile homes. Concrete tile roofs here are now at or past 40 years, so tile-to-metal conversions and spouting replacement are the jobs we see most.

Pakuranga roofing

1960s and 70s weatherboard and brick homes, many still on their original Decramastic or concrete tile roof. Decramastic of that era may contain asbestos, so we test before anything comes off.

Botany Downs and Dannemora roofing

1990s and 2000s homes on lighter long-run or tile roofs. Typical work is first-time maintenance, flashing repairs around skylights and vents, and spouting that was never sized for the roof.

Bucklands Beach and Half Moon Bay roofing

A coastal peninsula with direct sea exposure. The corrosion zone decides which products we can warrant and how often sheltered areas need washing.

Flat Bush roofing

Newer subdivisions with roofs 10 to 20 years old. We regularly find undersized spouting and penetrations that were never flashed properly, both easy to put right before they cause damage.

East Tamaki roofing

Homes alongside a large commercial and industrial area. Commercial reroofs with internal gutters, clearlights and rooftop plant are common work for us here.

Beachlands and Maraetai roofing

Exposed coastal communities with older baches beside new builds. Severe marine zone: product choice and maintenance matter more than anywhere else on this side of the city.
