Impact Roofing Solutions reroofs and repairs roofs across the Hibiscus Coast, from Silverdale and Millwater to Orewa and the length of the Whangaparāoa Peninsula. For the right project we also travel north to Warkworth and Mangawhai.
The Coast is a salt environment. Almost every property on the peninsula and along Orewa and Red Beach is within reach of sea spray, which puts roofs into the highest corrosion zones. Product choice, fixings, flashings and regular washing decide how long a roof lasts here, and we quote with that in mind rather than selling the same roof we'd put on an inland house.
Alongside older baches and 1970s to 90s homes now due for a reroof, Millwater, Silverdale and Gulf Harbour have a large stock of 10 to 25 year old homes where the first proper maintenance and spouting work is now due.

What's different here
Severe marine exposure. Homes within a few hundred metres of the coast generally sit in the most demanding exposure zone. We confirm the zone, choose a COLORSTEEL® or COLORCOTE® product warranted for it, and explain the washing the warranty requires.
Wind. The peninsula and the Orewa hills are windier than the city. That changes fixing patterns, flashing cover and how we sequence the work so nothing is left exposed overnight.
Planning the trip. We're about an hour from Onehunga, so we group Coast work into runs and plan site visits so you aren't waiting. Reroofs, repairs and commercial work are all worth the trip.

Beachfront and exposed. Townhouse and apartment roofs alongside older homes, all in a severe marine zone.
70s to 90s homes close to the water where corrosion, not age, is usually what ends the roof.
New subdivisions and the Silverdale commercial area. First maintenance on roofs 10 to 15 years old, and commercial reroofs.
Peninsula wind and salt from both sides. Fixing patterns, flashing cover and washing all have to be done properly here.
Newer homes around the marina with full sea exposure. Product choice and warranty terms are decided by the zone.
North of the Coast, rural and coastal. We travel for the right project: reroofs, new builds and commercial work.
